What are the odds?
Of all the versions of Roulette widely played today, European Roulette is generally considered to be the favourite amongst the majority of players. The reason for this is that the house has only a slight advantage of 2.63% over the players. This is lower than American Roulette and higher than French Roulette.
A European Roulette wheel has 37 numbers on it. These numbers range from zero all the way up to 36. Each number from 1 to 36 are coloured red and black in an alternating pattern. The zero however is green.
This version of Roulette was first pioneered by Francois and Louis Blanc during the 19th century. This pair of brothers invented European Roulette by removing the double zero pocket. They took their version of Roulette to Germany where it quickly grew in popularity.
Let the game begin
The object of the game is for players to try and predict which number pocket the Daftar Slot ball will land on. Players do this by placing chips on the numbers they think will come up.
Roulette is generally played by between 1 and 8 players. A street bet is placed on the line at the end of a row and covers all three numbers in that row. The payout is 11 to 1.
A corner bet is placed at the intersection of four numbers and covers all four if they come up. The payout is 8 to 1.
A line bet is placed at the intersection at the end of two rows and covers six numbers in total. The payout is 5 to 1.
Outside bets
A column bet is placed right at the end of an entire column on the “2-1” square. It covers all the numbers in the column and of course pays out 2 to 1.
A dozen bet is placed on either the “1st 12”, “2nd 12”, or “3rd 12” box. It also pays out 2 to 1.
There are also bets for colour, odd/even or low/high. These are made by placing your bet on the square in question. The payout for each of these is 1/1. These bets also allow players to take advantage of the imprison rule. Under this rule, any spin that lands on a zero will give the player either 50% of their bet back or leave their bet where it is with a chance to win back 100% if the next spin is successful. Roulette Rules
The numbers 1 through 36 are marked on the roulette wheel, in addition to a “0.” The numbers are colored red and black alternately, and the “0” is green.
