Are there any sources of poker hands, including how they play out with betting etc. I am imagining the log files of some poker site somewhere. They do not offer hand histories but they do offer advanced statistics like player frequencies, bet sizing and much more! Improve this answer. Follow answered Nov 29 '20 at 9:25. If the poker hand simulator says you only win the hand 19% (4 to 1 odds) of the time, but you had to call a pot-sized bet to see the river (2 to 1 pot odds), then you shouldn’t have made the call. You can also use the poker calculator to help commit common odds and situations to memory.

As a poker player, one of the most important programs you can use is tracking and analysis software. This poker tracking software allows you to keep track of your wins and losses by loading all of the hand histories that are generated by the poker sites that you frequent. All of this information is stored in a database on your computer and the tracking and analysis software analyzes this data to generate statistics about the way that you and your opponents are playing.
Poker player tracking also lets you see who is winning and losing so that you can target weaker players and exploit their losing tendencies. Poker tracking software often includes a Heads-Up Display that lets you displays all of these statistics directly on the poker table so that you can use them to aid in your decision-making.
Another vital component of tracking and analysis software is the analytical portion. All the statistics in the world won't help you if you don't know how to understand them. Many of the most popular trackers such as Holdem Manager and PokerTracker have built-in reports that put the most vital information into an easy-to-access and easy-to-understand format. Oftentimes, this can include graphs displaying information such as win rates and positional statistics.
The primary factors that you want to look at when choosing a piece of poker tracking software are the inclusion of a HUD, support for the poker rooms that you play at, computer resource requirements, and ongoing support from the developers. The best tracker available would be useless to you if it doesn't support the site that you primarily play at.
Most of the modern trackers include HUDs and have continued support. While the differences between the available poker tracking software options might not seem significant, you should consider all of them when you are choosing which online poker tracking software to use.
Besides PokerTracker and Holdem Manager, other poker tracking options include Poker Office and the up-and-coming FreePokerDB, an open source program, which makes it a great option if you are looking for free poker tracking software.
